Progressive Cavity Pumps
Smooth, non-pulsating positive displacement pumps for sludge transfer, polymer feed, lime slurry, and chemical metering.
What are Progressive Cavity Pumps?
Progressive cavity pumps (PC pumps) use a helical rotor turning inside an elastomeric stator to move fluid in a smooth, non-pulsating stream directly proportional to rotational speed. They are self-priming, handle viscous and solids-laden fluids gently, and maintain consistent flow regardless of discharge pressure — making them the preferred choice for sludge transfer, polymer dosing, and lime slurry service.
Equipment We Represent
PCM - EcoMoineau Progressive Cavity Pumps
90+ years of PC pump manufacturing, operations in 90+ countries. Based on the original Moineau progressing cavity principle.
- EcoMoineau MX (Flagship) — Maintenance-in-place (MIP) design: rotor and stator replacement without removing the pump from the pipeline. 0.3 to 180 m³/h (1.3 to 793 GPM). Eco-designed for reduced energy consumption. Direct replacement for legacy installations without modifying pipework.
- EcoMoineau C — Shortest stainless steel PC pump with fixed stator. Simple, robust, economical. 3 L/h to 180 m³/h.
- EcoMoineau CF — Compact stainless steel with floating stator that compensates for deformation and reduces startup torque.
- EcoMoineau MF — Cast iron compact design for polymer dosing and viscous fluid applications.
- Also manufactures peristaltic pumps for water and wastewater chemical dosing
Applications
Liquid sludge, thickened sludge, and dewatered sludge transfer in water and wastewater plants
Precise polymer feed to thickeners, belt presses, centrifuges, and rotary presses
Lime slurry, ferric chloride, and other viscous chemical feeds
Food waste, grease, and organic feedstocks for anaerobic digestion systems
